The Lingodeer website and app contain a variety of exercises, audio recordings, grammar explanations and opportunities to review exercises and progress. The app is less well known than similar counterparts like Duolingo. There is an extra ‘Stories’ section for learners of Chinese Mandarin. A great resource.

Its videos are of varying difficulty levels and types, and are either sourced from the internet or originally produced. Hello Chinese is an excellent Chinese language learning app for complete beginners. A great deal of content can be accessed for free, but there is also a Premium and Premium+ option. The app does not allow you to be passive, taking you from beginners to intermediate level. There is limited advanced level Chinese content.
